Is there any positives for the UFC to slow down their card so the Fury X Usyk fight ends before the main event ? Cuz that's what I am feelin is happening.

That's true. As long as they cling to TV scheduling they're locked into starting every new portion of a card at the top of the hour. If it was all focused on PPV and internet views that wouldn't be an issue.
