Jumabieke is one of the most well-rounded fighters in Chinese MMA – a competitor who combines pinpoint Sanda striking with powerful freestyle Wrestling. The ethnic Kazakh athlete hails from Xinjiang in western China, a region which produces some of the nation’s most elite fighters. Although he began his pursuit of sports with soccer, he soon realized that he had a greater passion and aptitude for combat sports, and now trains out of China’s elite Xian Physical Education University, where he is a star pupil of China’s Godfather of MMA, Zhao Xuejun. Asked about what motivates him to fight, he summarizes his goals, “To be a hero in the ring, by defending my pride with sweat and blood. To do my best in every fight, and to be known as a true champion. And to one day have the whole world know my name – for China, for my homeland, and for my team and university.”

Tuerxun began his professional MMA career in 2009 with a decision victory. Over the first two years of his career, he would go on to have a perfect 10-0 record including five finishes. In early 2012, he would be given a shot at the Legend FC bantamweight title. He was able to win the belt by defeating Honggang Yao by split decision. After this, he would begin to fight soley for China's premiere MMA promotion, RUFF, where he would pick up three more wins in eight months.

In 2013, Jumabieke was signed to the UFC. He is set to make his debut against Mark Eddiva at The Ultimate Fighter: China Finale.
