Vandijck has a background in Judo ( Kano-Jiu Jitsu ) where he ranks as 8-time Belgian national Champion, and has another 8+ top-3 finishes at the National Judo Championships. He has also achieved solid finishes at the prestigious Agglorex tournament and the annual French-speaking Nations Judo tournament. Competing in various weights as far up as the 100kg+ open weight division - despite being rather undersized even for welterweight, he once held the 7th place World Judo-ranking for his category. With a 'Judo Inside' record of 38 - 52, Vandijck has taken on some of the elite Judo competitors of his divisions on the international stage, however many of his bouts are not included on this record.
